Age of Empires II (1999) Color Fix
You don’t need those patches when playing on Voobly, because Voobly client will apply those patches automatically once you play your first game on here. If you however plan to play offline, you should apply the registry fix below, to get right of the purple / red grass problem.If you are still having problems on Voobly, you may want to try running your game in 32 bit mode.
- Simply host a game
- In the game menu at top, select DirectX and check render in 32 bit mode.
Optional: Applying color fix when playing offline
This step is not necessary when playing on Voobly or when playing User Patch 1.3 and higher. Please follow the instructions above only.Change Management
